Korea

The KOREAN Peninsula is located in North-EAST Asia.
It is bordered by the Amnok River to the northwest, separating
Korea from China, and the Duman River to the northeast
which separates Korea from both China and Russia..
Korea is surrounded by hundreds of beautiful islands, Jejudo,
Ulleungdo and Dokdo being the most notable .

Climate in October

The ideal time to visit Korea is during the autumn months (September-November). During this time, the country experiences warm, sunny weather, skies that are cobalt blue and spectacular foliage that is perhaps its biggest draw.

Currency The basic currency of Korea is Won (KRW). Notes include the 1,000 won, 5,000 won, 10,000 won, and 50,000 won notes While coins include the 10 won, 50 won, 100 won, and 500 won coins. Foreign bank notes and traveler's checks can be exchanged into Korean won at foreign exchange banks and other authorized money exchange agencies. Credit Cards All Major international credit cards (VISA, Master, American Express, Dinners Club, JCB) are widely accepted at all major hotels, department stores, restaurants and retail outlets. Check with your credit card company for questions relating to overseas transactions.
Business Hour Government offices are usually open from, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays and close on weekends Banks open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays and close on weekends. All major stores open everyday from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm including Sundays
